Do you feel like you’ve stopped dreaming or lost your sense of purpose? With everything happening in the world today, you’re not the only one. Many of us have.
Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s Founding Fathers and most historical figure once said, “Some people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75.” I find this statement to be an accurate depiction of what happens to many of us in this game of life.
Growing up, it’s easy to imagine and believe in our dreams. However, as we get older, things happen. Life happens and becomes routine. We go to college, get a job, get married, have kids, and wait to retire. It’s like we become empty, having no purpose or passion. We stop dreaming. We stop setting goals and in some ways, we stop living — no vision in mind.
But we only have one life.
One chance to decide how we are going to live.
Do you want to wake up one day, knowing that you didn’t really live out your passions, your talents, or the life you dreamed as a kid? If you’re reading this, you probably don’t.
So whatever happens, never stop dreaming. Refuse to stop dreaming and settling for a mediocre life. Take control of your life and what you envision for yourself. Don’t die with your gifts unused and don’t die with an unlived life. If you need more inspiration to get your passion back, watch this video below:
