Here’s some interesting research: Apartment List recently published the company’s annual best and worst cities for singles study, just in time for the month of love, aka February.
The findings were based on a survey from over 9,000 single Apartment List renters. Those who are married or in a long-term committed relationship were not included in the survey. The statistics were based on the renters’ answer to the question: “How would you rate your current city or neighborhood for opportunities to date?” The renters were provided a list of possible responses to choose from: Very Satisfied, Somewhat Satisfied, Neutral, Somewhat Unsatisfied, Very Unsatisfied.
Austin, TX placed first among 66 surveyed cities. There, 39.8% of singles are satisfied with the dating scene available to them. And now in the best award tradition: here are the top 10 cities for dating.
Palm Bay, FL scored lowest in the survey. Only 10.7% of singles expressed their satisfaction with the dating scene in Palm Bay. Check out the list of bottom 10 cities for dating:
