One of my favorite things to do is write, especially about goodness and all things good.
By nature, I am a curious person that loves to curate ideas, people, places and things into concepts that provoke and inspire. This is what makes me happy. I am a very lucky woman to be able to use my strengths and gifts to create books, articles, a radio show and other media. This is all in addition to my coaching practice working with civilians and veterans alike who are challenged by trauma, health issues, addiction, life’s milestones and dark nights of the soul.
Life is not always joyful or easy. Personally, the past few months have not been a smooth ride for my family. Yet, after each storm, the sun does eventually shine again.
It is with huge pride that I get to unwrap another bundle of creative love into our community as the new health & wellness editor of Sleep and Wellness Magazine, a free quarterly online and print magazine devoted to health-related topics like sleep tips and disorders, diet and exercise, lifestyle and well-being, and more.
Veteran’s Day on November 11th recognizes and appreciates those who have served in the U.S. Military. Regardless of your political beliefs or personal viewpoints of war (personally, mine is that it is vile), it is in our civic-minded interest to acknowledge and care for those who have served.
We all want to be heard, understood and loved. And sometimes, our traumatic experiences make it difficult to engage and be our best selves. Harvesting Happiness for Heroes , our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, helps our warriors more successfully transition from the battlefield (literal and figural) back to home and family. Please join me in helping to combat Post-Traumatic Stress in our returning soldiers by supporting them to become warriors of joy and peace through HH4Heroes!
So let’s keep celebrating our veterans and how they have changed not only the lives of previous generations, but also ours and those to come!!
