18 Things We Should Finally Learn To Let Go Of In Our Mid-Twenties

Our   mid-twenties are what we make them to be. They should be epic, right? Or so we thought… Why do we sometimes feel so much stress and irritation? Why do we often feel overwhelmed, but then at other times, feel completely refreshed?
 

Maybe we’re not able to have fun, refreshing moments more because we’re holding onto too many things that by now… we probably should have let go of. There’s too much of our old baggage getting in the way. Here’s my take on 18 things we should finally let go of:
 

1. Being Perfect/ Having It All Together.
 

2. Thinking That We Should Be Infallible When We’re Only Human.
 

3. People Who Don’t Support Us.
 

4. Fake People.
 

5. Not Planning Properly.
 

6. Not Paying Bills On Time.
 

7. Conforming To Other People’s Beliefs.
 

8. Trying To Be Anything But Who We Are.
 

9. Holding Onto People’s Opinions Of Us.
 

10. Not Taking Chances/ Risks That Could Change Our Lives.
 

11. Not Learning To Say, “NO!” Repeat. Learning to say, “NO!”
 

12. Accepting Less Than We Deserve.
 

13. Not Realizing Our Self-Worth.
 

14. Making Excuses.
 

15. Not Seeing Everything As It Is, But Only Our Perception.
 

16. Not Sticking To Goals.
 

17. Settling.
 

18. Thinking That We Will Always Have Tomorrow.
