As I am writing this:
- It is currently 2:33 a.m.
- I have worked non-stop since about noon.
- I am super tired, exhausted and will go to bed straight after this
- Yet I am still here working
No, I do not usually do this.
No, I am not really that motivated, as I would much rather go to bed right now.
And no, I do not even have to be here… I am choosing to do this (for whatever reason) of my own accord.
The reason I am sharing all of this is simply this:
Whether or not you do stuff, whether or not you work, relax, procrastinate or get more done than you intended to depends on you.
The time really does not matter and neither does your mood.
You can work at 4 a.m., being sad beyond belief, just as easily as you can work at 5 p.m. in the best mood possible.
It is never about the work itself!
Right now, at 2:33 a.m., writing this blog post takes no more actual effort than at any other time in the day.
Sure, I am more exhausted and tired, but that doesn’t change the work at all.
That would be like saying just because I am weaker makes the weights at the gym heavier.
It’s not the weights fault!
Stop looking for excuses everywhere and look at yourself.
Where are you not willing to find a reason to do what you set out to do?
Where are you not willing to be the person you want to be?
It’s never about the time, the amount of work or the effort it will take.
It’s always about your attitude.
No matter how tired you are, how motivated you are or how strong you are, the weight of the weights will not change.
