So… that summer internship of yours is coming to an end?
Are you getting nervous about making sure that you leave on a good note?
Not to worry.
Here are a few ways to make sure you stay the office’s favorite intern.
1. Give everyone who you worked with a thank you card.
A simple gesture, pen a ‘thank yous’ to the people who made the most impact on you during your internship.

2. Collect everyone’s contact information.
You want to make sure that you stay in touch with people, especially when it’s job search time. Therefore, you need to make sure that you get the contact information of those who you’ve worked with during your internship. Additionally, it shows your coworkers that you care about keeping in touch with them by asking for their email addresses.

3. Leave a treat on your last day.
Don’t wait for people to celebrate you. Instead, celebrate your internship coordinators and bosses by bringing in donuts and leaving them in the break room. Make sure to write a note claiming it was a ‘treat’ working with everyone.

4. Shake everyone’s hand or give them a hug.
Although it’s usually a gesture reserved for meeting new people, giving your bosses and other people who you worked with a nice firm handshake or a nice hug before you leave is a great way to say goodbye.

5. Smile away!
You want people to remember how positive you were during the time you worked with them. On your last day, so make sure to amp up the positivity and you are sure never to be forgotten!
