Sometimes as much as someone may think that saying that to someone who is suffering from suicidal thoughts or depression will help them but that doesn’t always work. Our editor hopes that through his piece, more conversations will generate on these issues, and more people will seek help.
I would have never shared my story with you. I would have kept it to myself all my life, as much as I could. But with the recent news of suicide increasingly taking the lives of young people across the world, I had to say something.
The issues of youth and young adults battling suicidal thoughts and depression are being talked about more and more in the media. One woman’s inspiring life impacted many throughout the world. Her tragic death reminds us that we should never hesitate to speak up and seek help when we’re in need.
