In my less than a quarter-of-a-century life, I’ve faced moments that shook me. And no, they weren’t snippets of a quarter-life crisis. They went deeper. For me, they were moments when I questioned what I believed and was looking for a confirmation.
Truthfully, how bad do you really want to achieve that big dream or goal of yours? Everything that you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of what’s holding you back. You are the one to decide whether or not you want what you want badly enough to keep going and to keep trying, no matter.
Hardships are necessary for us to become who we were born to be. As much as they can be discouraging, they become encouraging as we grow older. They can provide us with the wisdom that we need to become who we were born to be.
It’s only through difficulties, sacrifice, and and hard work do we not take things for granted, and that we are able to fully contribute to the world based on the lessons we gain along the way.
Every so often, you have one of those days or weeks that wipes you out emotionally and mentally. This was a recent experience of one contributor. With the help of “gladiators,” she was able to navigate and learn from a disheartening experience.
We all have mountains that we have to climb as we go about our lives. And the great part about climbing any mountain is that once you do, you can always conquer the bigger ones up ahead.
If you’re lucky, you will have many challenging moments in your career. We’re lucky to have these moments because that’s how we grow. By pushing yourself outside of what you know and into the unknown, you force yourself to learn.
