Success: There Are Never Shortcuts To It. Period.

The thing is, we all want to be successful. But many of us don’t want to go through the process of getting to it. We want it to be quick, easy, and done.

Unfortunately and fortunately, that’s just not how it works. There’s so much more that goes into being successful than the wonderful things that come with it. What are those things? LOTS of Hard work. Sweat. Blood. Tears. Setbacks. Failures. Defeats. Trusting yourself. Changing your thoughts. Learning how people are. Misjudgment. Learning. And more.

Like the old saying goes, there are no shortcuts to any place worth going. People don’t just get to where they want to be overnight. It takes commitment, relentless effort, and the stamina to keep going.

For some reasons, many people today think that the overnight successes were that: overnight successes. But that’s not the case. Most have been working on their craft for years or for some time before they got their first big break. Again, success takes time. Reaching your goals takes time. It is not easy.

I think we need to get over this notion that we can just skip the process to becoming successful. Because the truth is, it is the process that will help us stay successful when we get that big break, that big moment that we have been waiting for our whole lives. The process shapes us and molds us to become who we need to be for maintaining that success.

Shortcuts never get anyone, anywhere. They only set you further back. Not doing these ethically gets you nowhere. The truth always eventually comes to the light. So the best thing to do is just go through any process that we need to go through in order to get to where it is that we aspire to be. Period.
