There will be moments along your life journey when you may question why you even embarked upon starting something new in the first place.
Sure, there will be many moments in which everything can seem to be going fantastic. But then at other moments, you might feel like you are the ultimate masochist. You may feel like the entire weight of the world is literally on your shoulders.
Interestingly, what I have learned about entrepreneurship is that it takes whatever is already in you, out of you. In some cases this is good and in other cases, it can be alarming. Why? Because it makes you come face-to-face with your true self.
But in these “alarming” moments, know that it’s all about perspective and most importantly, how you see yourself. When you may have discouraging moments and when you begin to lose hope (pondering on why you decided to pursue your dream in the first place), I want you to remember one thing…
“You’re never given a dream without also being given the power to make it come true.”
These beautiful words once spoken by American writer Richard Bach always ring into my mind whenever I am facing discouragement…whenever I am on the brink of giving up… whenever I can’t begin to believe in myself. I never let go of these words.
Realize you have the power in you needed to succeed. You have the resources around you that are needed for you to succeed. And most importantly, you have everything in you needed to make this dream become a reality. Yes, you.
Whenever you are taking on the unknown and feeling defeated, you must always go back to believing in what is possible. If you were given this dream, you will always find a way to make it become your reality.
There will always come a moment when the resources that you really need will somehow become available, or that person who really need to believe in you, will start to do so. It may take time, but you must never give up. Press forward. Persistence pays off and every successful entrepreneur will tell you the very same thing.
Never get so defeated or discouraged that you stop believing that your dream can come true. Nothing is impossible, even the word, itself says, “I’m possible.” So before you starting to execute your big idea make sure you start believing in yourself and that you start believing in what is truly possible. Remember, all things are possible.
