Some Transformative Ways You Can Shift Into Your Purpose

I love new seasons.

I feel a sense of renewal, possibility, and almost a reflection of some sort to realizing there are certain things that I need to let go of that are no longer serving me. As an entrepreneur, this has been especially helpful to me.

These moments of reflection allow you to look back over the last few months and to discover ways that you can become a better version of yourself. With each new season, I believe we unintentionally and consistently fall into who it is that we were created to be. And personally, I have found that with each new season, there’s an opportunity to discover more about who you are and to evolve into the ultimate person who you want to be.

In many ways, discovering who you also falls into discovering your purpose. To me, they inevitably collide into one another. Just like we each have our own destiny to fulfill, we each also have our own purpose to fulfill. You may not always feel like your life matters, but it does.   Why? Because…

You were born to make an impact. There is something which only you were created to contribute to this world.

But I do realize that the process of discovering why you are here can be challenging. Additionally, it can be hard to know the type of impact that you want to create if you are also having a hard time uncovering your purpose.

To help you fall more into your purpose in this new season (and throughout your life), I want to share with you five easy and inspiring ways that I believe will not only help you to get there, but they will also help you to make an endless impact with your life in the process:

  1. Be Honest…

Be honest with yourself about your talents, gifts, and your interests. Focus on your strengths and what brings you joy. Find out what it is that you would happily do for free. The happier you are doing an activity, the more likely that it’s part of your purpose and the impact that you can create.

  1. Don’t Be Afraid…

Don’t be afraid to go after your passions and the life that you believe you want to live. Have the courage to be different. Understand that you can never discover your purpose when you are trying to be like everyone else. Instead, be fearless in embracing the unique person that you are. It might feel like an uphill battle at first, but taking on the challenge will ultimately lead you to discover your purpose.

  1. Have A Vision…

Have a vision for who it is that you want to be. And I mean get down to the nitty, gritty details with this vision. Be purposeful with it. Envision it, imagine it, and believe it to be possible. This will lead you to also think about the legacy and the impact of your purpose that you want to contribute to the world.

  1. Don’t Settle And Don’t Give Up…

Choose to not give up on finding what it is that you love. Never settle on living an unfulfilled life. Instead, go after your passions and be determined to live a life in which you are using your talents, gifts, and interests in ways that make you (and others) happy. As Steve jobs said, “If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.” Now that, says it all.

  1. Aim to Become the Best Version of Yourself

The older I get, the more I realize that everything is about mindset and how you see things, how you take hold of things. It’s important for us to see ourselves as to who it is that we want to become. We need to begin wholeheartedly believing that who we aspire to be and what we want for our lives is possibly, despite the negativity or hard situations that come our way. Sometimes it’s those situations that push us into becoming who it is we need to be to get that version of who we aspire to be. But it’s all about mindset and seeing this notion as truth as you shift into stepping into your purpose!

Wishing you love and the greatest belief in yourself!
