Some Epic Twitter Reactions To Super Bowl LII - Just In Case You Missed The Fun

Not everyone just watches the Super Bowl for the commercials (crazy, I know), some people actually really enjoy watching the game itself, and they get really into it. And we mean really into it.

Chances are if you've taken a peek at social media in the last few days, you've seen the before, during, and after reactions the internet had to this year's big face-off: the New England Patriots (back at the Super Bowl for the third time in the last five years) and the Philidelphia Eagles, who (spoiler alert) won their first ever Super Bowl. But if you decided the Puppy Bowl was more your speed and you didn't catch the action, you can always count on Twitter to keep you in the loop. Let's just be honest, I think by this point most people are not only tired of hearing about Tom Brady and the Patriots, but are also sick of seeing them in the Super Bowl as well. A lot of people took to rooting for the underdogs in this game, hoping they would pull out a victory. One of those peopleĀ happens to be our president, who in typical fashion, took to Twitter to congratulate the Eagles on their big win: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/960361010904338432?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.si.com%2Fnfl%2F2018%2F02%2F04%2Ftwitter-reactions-eagles-win-super-bowl-strip-sack But Trump wasn't the only one celebrating the win. Fans cheered all over social media and the country. https://twitter.com/MMehtaNYDN/status/960374205119332357 In fact, over 10,000 Eagles fans took to the streets of Philadelphia last night to celebrate making history. https://twitter.com/LeafsMaz20/status/960402736738119680 https://twitter.com/ABC/status/960493206218649600 And of course, this wouldn't be a true coverage of the Super Bowl if we didn't include the crazy debate social media had over Justin Timberlake's half-time show performance, which included poor audio, a terrible outfit, and one hilarious teen the internet has dubbed "the new left shark." https://twitter.com/goldengateblond/status/960327096395419648?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpeople.com%2Fsports%2Fsuper-bowl-2018-justin-timberlake-halftime-twitter-reactions%2F https://twitter.com/jtrain56/status/960322569034334209?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpeople.com%2Fsports%2Fsuper-bowl-2018-justin-timberlake-halftime-twitter-reactions%2F https://twitter.com/AndrewBrandt/status/960325489171759106?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpeople.com%2Fsports%2Fsuper-bowl-2018-justin-timberlake-halftime-twitter-reactions%2F On the other hand, there were some who did truly enjoy his performance: https://twitter.com/jimmyfallon/status/960325486541930496?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fpeople.com%2Fsports%2Fsuper-bowl-2018-justin-timberlake-halftime-twitter-reactions%2F But there is no debate that the commercials stole the show, per usual. The big winners of the night featured a rap battle with Morgan Freeman and Peter Dinklage, a few 80 year olds trying some new jobs, and some M&Ms turning human (and quickly dying).
