Life seems to be going in the blink of an eye sometimes.

It feels like every part of life seems to be going in fast forward sometimes. Middle school. High school. College. Friends. Relationships. Jobs. It’s a blur of memories…a blur of moments.

And every day, there always seems to be so much to do, so much to be, so much getting in the way of really enjoying life and our journey in it. So how do we begin to feel a sense of calmness or serenity in all of the madness? How do we begin to really live, while really enjoying life as well?

I believe it begins by focusing on the good things in life more. When we focus on what really matters and all of the beauty that life offers in each second we are here, we can begin to take a step back, focus on our passions, and really live life in the way we dream.

On that note, here are 12 inspiring reasons we should be focusing on the good things in a life more:

1. Life is too short not to do so.

12. As Jack Kornfield said, “In the end, just three things matter: How well we have lived; How well we have loved; How well we have learned to let go.”
