Nothing in life is permanent, even the bad situations that we encounter.

In a bad moment, you might feel like your entire world is falling apart right in front of you. When bad things happen, it’s easy to feel like nothing will ever change. It’s also easy to feel defeated, like there is nothing you can do that can fix the situation.

But when you face really hard times, it’s important to change your perspective and to realize that you can’t (and should not) allow bad situations to stop you from living. This is true not only in the sense of committing suicide but also in the sense that you do not become so defeated that you stop doing everything that once made you happy. You can’t allow yourself to become different – in the negative sense – because of a bad moment.

The bottom line is bad moments don’t come to stay.

They come pass, and can often make you a better person. Sure, we hate bad moments and don’t always have an explanation for why bad things happen – especially to good people – but we do know that they don’t have to stay in our lives. We can choose to move forward.

Here are seven reasons why you should never let a bad moment of your life, stay around for your life:

1). You have the power to change your life at any moment with positive thoughts.

2). Your past nor any situation does not have to define you, only you define yourself.

3). You miss out on the great times with people who really care about you.

4). Bad moments make you stronger. They build your character and shape you into a better person.

5). Bad moments are only moments of time that you can control in your head. Repeating them in your mind only discourages/hurts you.

6). Beating up on yourself and worrying causes health issues and makes you look older.

7). Holding on to bad moments keeps your life from moving forward and stops you from reaching your full potential
