Life’s What You Make It. How Will You Use The Life You’ve Been Given?

I know I’m only in my twenties, but I do think about how I am living my life.

I think about my goals, my choices, my career path, my dreams, the future family I would like to have, and all of the things in between. I think about how I am choosing to live my life and my happiness. Yes, I think a lot (smile). And it seems like the older I get, the faster time gets and the more my thinking makes me discover how precious life really is…

It’s in all of these moments,
that I realize life is what you make it.

Our lives are what we decide that we want them to be. They are not dependent upon those around, but they are dependent on what’s inside of us. So with this being true, I wonder how most of us are using the life we’ve been given. I wonder, how you (the person reading this), will use the life you’ve been given.

I don’t know if we take life for granted, although sometimes I know I do. I mostly take for granted its challenges. They annoy me and frustrate me. However, I know that through overcoming challenges, I can use what I’ve learned and my life to help others through their own challenges. My life battles serve a purpose and they’re something I’m working on appreciating.

But I think all of us need to spend more time appreciating that our lives are something that we can continuously use towards something greater. There is a reason why each of us are here. We all have the opportunity to use the life that we have in a way that not only impacts our families, but also the world around us. We have the opportunity to be, do, and become all that we could imagine. And I definitely know that’s something not to take for granted.

As you go about your days and go about winding down the year, think about how you are using the life that you’ve been given. Whether there is more that you want to achieve or someone you want to impact, believe that your life can truly become what you work towards creating it to be.

Nothing is set in stone for you.

Therefore, your life’s what YOU choose to make it.
