Each and every one of us is going through something right now. It’s true.
Sometimes these problems are hidden. Sometimes they are out in the open. Sometimes they come in different shapes, sizes, and times. But the reality is that we all have giants that we are facing and we always will. If we want to defeat our giants, then we must understand why they come.
I firmly believe that our giants serve a purpose. They are our greatest barriers to our breakthroughs. It’s our greatest giants that are our greatest opportunities. In fact, the giant that you face are really an opportunity for you to move closer in fulfilling a dream, in fulfilling a goal, and most of all, in fulfilling your purpose. But you have to believe this about your giant in order to defeat it.
All throughout your life, when you face giants, the world will tell you to be reasonable. People will look at your giant and tell you it’s huge. They will make you doubt that you can overcome it. But you have to operate on the basis of faith. And when you do, you will see that your giant is really small in comparison to how big God is.
When we stop having a ground-level perspective in which we feel that we can’t overcome the giants that we face, that’s when we can defeat them. We have to have God’s perspective about our giants. He sees them as ants that can be stomped on at any given time. Having God’s perspective allows us to be able to see the reality of every situation, making our problems seem not so overwhelming.
As giants come and go, know you will always be able to defeat them. God will fill you with faith. He will help you realize that His perspective of your giant is the true perspective. With God, anything is possible and you will always defeat your giant. You simply have to believe that you can.
