Just in case you didn’t know, today is Giving Tuesday!

#GivingTuesday is global social movement that has been encouraging millions of people around the world to give back on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving since 2012. This 24-hour online charitable campaign is dedicated to inspiring others to make an impact in numerous ways, such as by donating to charities, volunteering, or supporting philanthropic efforts.

To show RIZZARR’s support for this inspiring day, we are highlighting a number of different organizations that we love and admire. We hope that you will join us in supporting them by making a donation to them, telling others about them, or by getting involved in volunteering for them.

Let’s all work together with these meaningful organizations to make the world a better place. Have you decided what you’re going to do to give back today?

#YESWECODE

YESWECODE

The #YesWeCode initiative targets low-opportunity youth and provides them with the necessary resources and tools to become world-class computer programmers. By learning this highly valuable and relevant 21st century skill, these young people are shifting the trajectory of their futures and transforming their relationships with their communities and their country.

Girls Who Code programs work to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. Girls Who Code’s vision is to reach gender parity in computing fields. We believe this is paramount to ensure the economic prosperity of women, families, and communities across the globe, and to equip citizens with the 21st century tools for innovation and social change. The more girls are exposed to computer science at a young age, the more women will be working in the technology and engineering fields in the near future.

They can confront these serious illnesses with increased awareness, early intervention and improved access to treatment. NEDA provides programs and services to give families the support they need to find answers for these life-threatening illnesses.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in a village in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One.™
