How do you really feel about your life?
Do you ever feel like your life doesn’t really matter? Or that your life doesn’t really have any impact or meaning? Do you ever feel like you can’t find your way or that you don’t know the deep purpose as to why you’re here?
Well, honestly, with the stress of living and finding our way, it’s easy to have all of these thoughts at time. I know this is a heavy topic, but it’s been on my mind lately… this rationale that many of us give to ourselves in underestimating the purpose of our lives, who we are, and what we can offer to the world.
With all that’s going on in the world today… the anger, the confusion, the uncertainty, it’s easy to take for granted the importance of your life, why you’re here, what your life can give to the world, and the beauty found in life itself. It’s easy to lose sight of all of these things and to overlook them throughout the moments of our lives.
It’s in each of our weak moments or moments of feeling unsure of ourselves that many of us lose sight of the impact that our lives can offer. And the impact doesn’t have to literally touch the entire world, but it can touch those closet to us or those we encounter throughout our journeys. Our impact weighs much greater than we can fathom. That’s the perspective that we should take with us daily, allowing it realize how even the smallest action or word of encouragement on our part can profoundly touch someone else’s life.
Let this piece be a reminder to you to never, ever underestimate why you’re here, to never think that your life and everything you can offer is anything short of brilliance.
I look around and I’m full of deep passion to tell my generation -any really everyone- that each of our lives has some meaning, some purpose. We each have something to give and to share with the world, while we’re here.
And there’s some ultimate reason we each have for being here. There’s something that only we can put forth in the world. So in essence, none of us should ever underestimate why we’re here. Instead, we should believe and live knowing that our lives have such a great purpose where we are, and everywhere we go.
