Despite What We Think, Our Actions Matter – Every Single One Of Them.

We were not created to act as an island.

But with the hustle of life, we sometimes slip into thinking that our actions don’t impact anyone and we are an island of our own. Yeah… that’s not reality.

Despite what we may think, our actions matter. Our actions have the power to break people or to inspire people beyond their imaginations. Our actions have such an enormous effect on people; they have an effect on the world; they have an effect on the future of our world and its condition. Our actions are so much more than just actions; they are instruments that play into the outcomes of our world.

Every day, our actions can save or change people’s lives. The reason for this intense amount of impact is that we each are connected. What happens on one side of the world to a group of people inevitably connects back to the other side of the world to another group of people. I wish we would all realize this and take this to heart. I believe if we did, so much about our society would change; so much about the way that we see ourselves and our purpose on this earth would change.

Realizing the impact that our actions have goes much deeper than just the impact they can make, it also goes into who we become. I think that if we all embrace this idea of connectivity the world would be such a different place and people would feel better about themselves. You see, if we would take more time to help people; take more time to treat the way that we would want to be treated; and take more time to fully live out this idea that our actions mattered, there are no limits to what is possible. There would be no limits in how we could eradicate and change so many issues of our world. But we must come together to create that positive change.

The truth is, our actions really do matter – every single one of them. And I think, until we as a society realize this and until we collectively come together more, there will be many systemic matters and situations that will be harder for us to fix and harder to positively change. That’s the reality. We have to change our thinking.
