Today we’re coming to you from sunny Las Vegas! Not gonna lie to you.. after a snowy + cold winter in Colorado and Utah, it’s pretty nice soaking up the sun!
We’ve actually been working from a hotel this week while Jordan’s dad is in town and taking a teeny break from the RV. And although the luxuries of hotel life has been super sweet (aka unlimited wifi + a BATHTUB!) we’d be lying if we said we didn’t miss our little home on wheels. So we’re hitting the road again tomorrow!
This week has been a really encouraging week for us and new inquiries. It feels like we’re FINALLY at a place where we’re consistently bringing in new inquiries – and not just of anyone, but our IDEAL clients. Aka those entrepreneurs who really have a heart for their business + their clients – our DREAM peeps!
But guys, it took a LONG time…
You already know this, but creating something out of nothing is HARD work.
So today, we just wanted to encourage you to keep pushing. If you’re creating something new, working towards a dream, or taking a chance on what’s on your heart – you can TOTALLY do it. Most of the time, it just takes sticking it out through a fair share of challenges, failures, and learning lessons. You know – all the super fun stuff that happens when you chase your dreams 🙂
This is something we’re really passionate about sharing – it’s too easy to look at other people online and think they’ve got it all together.
And at least for us, it’s totally not the case.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, we like to keep it REAL around here…. which means we share the struggles right along with the successes. We hope by opening up our hearts and getting a little vulnerable, we can encourage you to keep making your big dreams happen.
A few weeks ago, Pete and I decided we wanted to be more intentional about growing our OWN business – not just focusing solely on our clients (you know what they say about the cobbler’s kids 🙈)⠀
We’ve been blessed to grow our business by word of mouth the past few years, but we’re at a point where we want to focus on filling up our own pipeline.
(Plus, growing businesses with smart marketing is our jam, and we were ready to do more of it for ourselves! 🙌🏼)⠀
Fast forward two weeks + we implemented some of the strategies we teach our clients back into our own biz… and guess what ☺⠀
This week has been filled with inquiry calls from seriously the most DREAM clients! 😍 Each and every person we’ve had the chance to speak with just blew us away with their heart, their business, and their goals. ⠀

And it just has us doing happy dances over here that we get to grow our own business by helping other creatives grow theirs 🤗💃🏻🕺🏻⠀
But here’s a secret a lot of people don’t share… it wasn’t always this way. ⠀
It took a LOT of sticking it out. Of trying again and learning and failing. Of doing work we DIDN’T love to figure out what we did. Of serving clients who took advantage of us in order to realize which clients ACTUALLY valued us + our biz. Of knowing how to identify who is a good fit from the very first call. Of asking for what we’re worth + confidently delivering for our clients. ⠀ ⠀
If you’re sitting there getting frustrated with where you’re at in your business, we totally feel you. We’ve been there SO many times, and we want to help you stick it out.
Here are a few things that have helped us out along the way:
1⃣ The people who succeed are the ones who don’t quit. If you really believe in what you’re building, keep on pushing through. ⠀ ⠀
2⃣ It’s not worth the money to work with bad clients. Start to figure out your dream clients NOW and get in front of them!⠀ ⠀
3⃣ Be super clear about who you are, who you serve, and what you do. Nicheing is your friend! Be yourself!⠀ ⠀
4⃣ Set up smart marketing strategies + funnels from the start! Your pipeline will thank you 🙂
