There is an infinite amount of material out there on how to succeed, how to make money, how to trade stocks, how to grow your business, how to enhance your career, etc. Nowadays, we have no shortage of people teaching others how to be successful. The majority of people who read and take courses on how to material never actually succeed with it. That is a sad fact because many people could have the beautiful and successful lives they want, but they are missing some key components that would get them results.
Success opportunities may be presenting themselves to you every day, but the problem is they are in a language in which you may not be fluent. The point of this book is to teach you how to become fluent in the language of success and opportunity, so you can step out and receive this new world you can now perceive with full clarity and understanding.
This book covers creating real success from scratch. It does not matter if you are at knowledge scratch, financial scratch, or entry level job scratch. It does not matter if you filed bankruptcy yesterday. In fact, being at scratch is perfectly okay because it has nothing to do with becoming successful. Where you are starting from means nothing, as long as you open your mind to the concepts I will be sharing with you to sculpt the right psychology to produce success and opportunity.
Where Does Success Start?
“Rough Draft Moves” are how I’ve created massive success from complete scratch multiple times in my life in multiple industries. After I’ve dissected all of my achievements, this is what it comes down to. You might be asking, “what are Rough Draft Moves?” Most people are caught up in the pre-action analysis, which is, at its core, analyzing nothing more than a series of thoughts and neurons bouncing around in the brain, and there’s no actual real-world data to assess.
The reason Rough Draft Moves are so important is because they pierce your thoughts and turn into real-world events that you can analyze for your benefit and growth. Now you get into post-action analysis. This is where you can assess real events that occurred in the real world.
You can weed out what doesn’t work; you can keep the items that do and move forward with an expanded view and consciousness of your entrepreneurial journey. Doors can open that you didn’t exist yet. The only thing that’s going to get you to that next threshold of opportunities is action. Being paralyzed with analyzing the work you are about to take before taking any new action, diminishes your ability to reach a threshold of new growth and opportunity.
“Rough Draft Moves” are essential to your success as an entrepreneur, and I can’t emphasize this enough. Successful entrepreneurs, whether they know it or not, have made a series of rough draft actions that have opened doors to where they are today and where their success level is at this exact point. I coined this term pre-action analysis because it’s the perfect description of what actually happens. Most people are at a standstill before they even start.
Taking consistent action through uncomfortable first steps and analyzing the work after you’ve taken steps, becomes a habit that allows mistakes, and lessons to be learned quickly. This real-world data creates a path towards massive success. When you write things out on a whiteboard or put things down on a chart to analyze, that is not the final step, as you are just postponing the inevitable mistakes and failures you need to reach that next level towards success.
Remember, everyone has great ideas and most of the best ideas, songs, poetry, music, books, businesses will never see the light of day and are unfortunately buried six feet underground. Unless you take action on your ideas, they’re worthless. Make your thoughts real by your activity. Even if 1% of your real-world efforts has ground to stand on, it’s worth learning about the 99% of what didn’t work. That 1% seed you have is enough to nurture and build on. The more moves you make, the better you get at making the correct moves, which will expand the percentage of what actually will work. You’ll soon start to see an exponential avalanche of positive results.
You can be a Ph.D. and write a phenomenal thesis paper on what creating success from scratch looks like based on research, but if you’ve never actually created success from scratch, it’s simply a theory. Operating with data that you produce from the real-world actions, will move you towards accomplishing your goals. Theories do have their place, but when you’re committed to climbing the ladder of success and becoming an accomplished entrepreneur, you’re leaving a lot of doors of opportunity closed because you are not aggressively taking action.
