First of all, I want to make it clear to you that you are enough. In fact, you are more than enough.
It can be so annoying how we can be our own worst enemies. I’m mean seriously. Sometimes we are meaner to ourselves that the world is to us. I have been this way to myself sometimes, and I keep trying to break away from this habit. I don’t understand why we often believe that we are not good enough in various categories, like beauty, careers, school… and in those moments when we feel really down, the category is “everything.”
We are so quick to make ourselves feel defeated or like we are incapable, inadequate, dumb, ugly, and everything negative in between. For some reason, so many of us have conditioned ourselves into believing that we are not good enough. This kind of negative thinking can also come from social media, entertainment, and all forms of celebrity comparisons. It’s sad too, because in our society we are so quick to compare ourselves to everything and everyone. We are so quick to judge each other, criticize our bodies, and lower people’s self-worth. At the end of the day, it’s easy to see how so many of us suffer from low self-esteem or fail in believing in ourselves.
But we’ve got to step away from thinking negatively about ourselves. You’ve got to stop having low self-worth or not thinking highly of yourself. Believe that you are beautiful, handsome, uniquely made, smart, talented, and amazing. Believe it with everything inside of you. Life is already hard enough, why should you make it even harder for yourself by not seeing the greatness, the beauty, and the talent that lies within you?!
Make the decision and the promise to yourself today that you are not going to allow yourself to feel like you aren’t good enough anymore. Make the promise to yourself today that you embrace all of your perceived flaws and failures because they uniquely make you the beautiful person that you are. Starting today, make the commitment to yourself that whenever you feel like you’re not good enough, that you don’t have what it takes, or that you are ugly, you will look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself, “You I am good enough.” And after you do, remind yourself of all the amazing things that you have accomplished and all the things that you have left to do.
Stop thinking you are not good enough!
Get over thinking you don’t have what it takes. Tell yourself that you are just enough. Empower yourself to believe in yourself. Strongly realize that you are exactly who you were created to be and you are only going to become an even greater version of who you are now! Love yourself for everything that makes you who you are!
