It’s crazy how one negative thought about yourself can set you on a downward spiral of having unlimited self-defeating, negative thoughts.
I’m sure you know what I mean. They are the most annoying, nagging, and energy-draining thoughts to have on every level known to mankind.
And surprisingly, it only takes one of these thoughts to knock us off course. Usually it’s one wrong thought about our quote-on-quote inadequacies that will do the trick in stopping us from going after our dreams or goals. It’s sad really how we can limit ourselves into believing that we can’t do something.
But what we often fail to realize is that we are in control of our thinking. We are the ones who set the limits for our lives. Yep, that’s right. In case you haven’t heard: you are your only limit.
The only limits that we have, are the ones that we place upon ourselves. That’s why legendary New Thought author Napoleon Hill used to say, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” So really, whenever you believe that you can’t do something or allow other people to convince you that you can’t, then you will achieve that negative belief about yourself. You are only one who can stop yourself from achieving what it is that you desire to do.

OK, so if you are thinking negatively all the time when it comes to believing about what you are capable of achieving, stop it– now! I know this is easier said than done, especially when these negative thoughts about what you can’t do are constantly creeping into your mind. But… learn to push past them.
Change how you think about yourself. Think positively about yourself. Learn to never think to yourself that you can’t do something, because you can! You can do anything that your mind can conceive! Look, even Napoleon Hill found this to be true!
And really, accomplishing the goal or dream that you have will not be the hardest part. The truth is, the hardest is believing in yourself and believing that you can achieve what you dream to do. If you can help yourself to believe you can do anything you dream, then it will make it much easier for you to move forward in achieving that goal.
Now, stop it with the negative thinking and go think positively about yourself. 🙂 As you keep embracing these positive thoughts, it will get easier and easier for you to do. You have my word.
