There is much more to life than deciding to live like a zombie.
You get up, get dressed, go to work, come home, maybe grab dinner with friends. Day over. Routine after routine. Continues…
You’ve obviously lost your passion and are forgetting why you do, what you do. Maybe the reason behind your not awakening from this “living zombie” mode is that you have forgotten your why.
Don’t feel bad though. It happens to all of us – at moments.
A mentor of mine sent me this video that featured a comedian named, Michael Jr. It seemed like he also knew that many of us are “living zombies.” I laughed at some parts of his act and surprisingly was inspired by it, too. He said, “When you know your why, you have options on what your ‘what’ can be.” Interesting, I thought.

Could it be that many of us don’t know our true passions? Or are we deliberately choosing not to pursue them? Moreover, are we playing it safe, thinking there is no way for us to live them out?
After much thinking about the comedian’s message, I get it: When we figure out our why, then we will change what we do in all capacities. Knowing your why is the key to how you choose to live in every single way. Finding your why will allow you to get creative. It will allow you to expand your horizons. It will allow you to create opportunities for yourself that were perfectly designed for you to pursue.
And most of all, finding your why, will awaken you to what it really means to live.
Don’t take knowing your “why” for granted.
