Trying to consistently keep your mind clear?
These great habits should help:
Meditation
Simply 10 minutes of quiet meditation, or more, using a Bell-Timer will give you a lot of insight. Try doing this for 2 hours and the results will be breathtaking!
Writing down your thoughts
It is one thing to have them all in your head, but another thing to see them laid out bare before you; you will see connections you never made in your mind before.
Sitting in Nature
No music, no cell phone, just take your key and go outside. Sit there for a while and just let the thoughts come. When you want to go home, sit for another 15–30 minutes, it will make all the difference.
Doing something completely new
Do something you have never done before or something completely outside your comfort zone. This reveals more about yourself than you thought it could.
Do all the housework
Make your place as clean as the day you bought it while keeping the furniture of course. Vacuum, wipe the floors, dust all surfaces, take out all the trash, do all the laundry, etc. If you don’t clear your mind doing that you will still have done a lot regardless!
Do something just for fun
Have no reason to do it other than it is fun. Practice an instrument you haven’t touched in years, fingerpaint like you used to as a child, or ride your bike around town just for kicks. Do something that does not involve electronics and do it only because you want!
Take a bath
Put on some nice music, use a lot of bubbles, put on some candles, and make it a whole experience. Make all your troubles go away for a while.
