It still makes my life today because of its many hilarious, yet transparent lessons. Here are 13 lessons I learned from it that are probably applicable to all of our “consumer-driven lives” in some way or another:
1. You never have to be who people want you to be.
2. Everyone has an opinion. Don’t take them to heart.
3. The perfect line to say (quietly) when people get on your nerves:
4. Be careful what you touch, you could get hepatitis…
5. Always aim higher.
6. The definition of a pretty guy is ambiguous.
7. Nice guys do not finish last.
8. Great poetry makes the world go round.
9. Do YOU. Don’t pay mind to the haters.
10. The perfect line to use when you make a mistake…
11. Heath ledger was too hot. Again, just too hot.
12. All parents are embarrassing.
13. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want.
Receiving a massage, whether it’s given by someone else or self-administered, can help loosen your muscles and establish a better connection not only with your body but also with the people you love.
